Who We Are
Founded in 2001, WBS is an employee benefits advisory firm that works primarily with mid- to large size companies throughout New England and the Northeast. WBS is known for building innovative employee benefits programs that help employers control their benefit costs. Their seasoned staff consists of employees with an average of 25 years of experience in their selected discipline.
As we have grown, we have continually expanded services and added capabilities allowing us to offer clients ways to effectively deal with an extremely challenging benefits marketplace. At renewal time, our clients are equipped to negotiate from a position of strength. As we have grown, we added to the considerable depth of expertise on the WBS staff, and expand the roster of services available to our clients.
In 2011, WBS was acquired by HUB International, the country’s 8th largest insurance brokerage firm. Together, as one of New England’s largest insurance brokerages, the partnership has allowed WBS to become a mid-to large market boutique for HUB New England’s Employee Benefit Practice. WBS has kept our brand, and expanded our service portfolio via the additional tools and resources available from HUB International.
