Robert Hartman

As Executive Vice President of Strategic Client Service Operations, Rob Hartman is responsible for supporting HUB’s growth initiatives by defining and developing programs to drive scale. Rob joined HUB in September 2023 and serves as a member of the Executive Management Team. In his role, Rob partners with business leadership to elevate HUB’s client experience, support HUB’s fast-growing business segments, identify best practices and efficiencies in client services, and maximize the use of customer, carrier and marketing data.

With more than 20 years of experience in operational leadership, management consulting and business development, Rob comes to HUB from AXIS Capital, a global specialty (re)insurer, where he was most recently the Chief Operating Officer of Specialty Insurance & Reinsurance. Prior to AXIS, Rob was a Partner at global management consulting firm McKinsey & Company. He began his career as a Naval Flight Officer in the U.S. Navy.

Rob received a B.S. in Mathematics from the U.S. Naval Academy and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He and his family currently live in the Pittsburgh area.
