Watch to learn more about our Employee Resource Groups and our Culture & Belonging journey so far.

Our Culture & Belonging journey at HUB goes hand-in-hand with our company values. With a focus on Talent, Culture and Community, Culture & Belonging is critical for strengthening and supporting our workforce while allowing us to better serve our clients.

We believe that by focusing on the three pillars of Talent, Culture, and Community, we continue to attract and retain the best and most diverse talent at HUB; create a culture of inclusion so that our clients get the best out of us; and help improve the communities in which we live and work.

We will continue to work together to make great strides in our diversity, equity, and inclusion journey because it is the right thing to do.”

Belonging

Our numerous employee resource groups align with our values and work to make every employee at HUB feel seen, heard, valued, respected and connected to facilitate creativity, deliver the best results for our clients, foster collaboration and support one another.

Over 250 employees serve on local nonprofit boards.

Culture

Culture is the heart and soul of a company, and often is what makes a person stay or leave an organization. At HUB, we know it’s important to ensure our employees feel seen, valued, heard, and respected. Our intention is to cultivate a culture of belonging, which helps all employees reach their full potential by staying engaged, present, and excited about our work.

~$2M donated annually to charitable sponsorships and donations.

Community

Our employees’ passions impact their own diverse communities by engaging in philanthropy and volunteer work in and outside of work. HUB ensures that those efforts are inclusive of outreach partners and organizations that serve diverse populations.

Womens-Network

HUB Women Network provides a collaborative community for all employees to learn, grow, and achieve their maximum potential personally and professionally through allyship and advocacy. The mission of the HUB Women Network is to Engage employees to help build and develop collaboration at all levels, Empower employees to master their potential to achieve personal and professional development, and Excel their individual growth and elevate their overall capabilities through engagement and empowerment.

Black-Inclusion-Network

The SOUL of the HUB Black Inclusion Network is rooted in a commitment to service, optimism, unity, and leadership to empower our employees to advocate for underrepresented communities, cultivate inclusive workplaces, and build meaningful connections with colleagues and clients. We leverage our internal and external resources to empower personal and professional growth for individuals often overlooked in society and the workplace. We strive to attract and retain Black talent and enhance our brand as a broker of choice.

Abilities-Voices

The HUB Abilities Voices group may have its roots with employees who have children on the Autism Spectrum, but its mission is much broader. They strive to ensure that our culture is inclusive of candidates and employees with disabilities as well as employees who are caregivers. The group is also open to any and all allies. The group understands the intersectionality of disabilities, which means that anyone from any demographic can be or become disabled or become a caregiver at any time. They want to ensure that HUB’s culture is inclusive of all aspects of the disability community.

asianpacificislandervoices

The Asian & Pacific Islander (API) Voices group raises awareness of what the term API means. They seek to raise awareness that the API community consists of a wide range of cultures, countries, and languages. The group also wants to help the company cast wider nets to attract API and to be a resource to engage and retain that talent. The group is also keen to help the company grow and enhance the HUB brand as a brokerage of choice to API customers.

Hispanic-Voices

The HUB Hispanic Voices group aims to foster awareness and promote the contributions of the Hispanic community; to create and facilitate collaborative, cross-cultural opportunities; and to encourage the recruitment and professional development of a highly skilled and diverse workforce. This creates a supportive environment for the Hispanic community and contributes to the company’s success.

Military-Veterans-and-Military-Families-Voices

The HUB MILVETS/FAMS Voices group connects our veterans, military spouses, their families, and supporters within the company. We seek to advance veterans’ careers and serve the military community with resources and networking, while raising awareness through commemorative and educational events. Our members bring leadership, discipline, and a team mentality.

Indigenous-Voices

Like the AAPI Voices group, the Indigenous Voices group wants to raise awareness and share their rich heritage to all HUB employees. Rich with tradition and made up of multiple tribes, languages, and geographies, these employees are helping HUB identify talent and potential customers while also working to make our company and industry a destination for talent. Internally, they share the rich cultures and sometimes forgotten history with all HUB teammates.

PRIDE-Voices

The Pride Voices group is dedicated to ensuring support, resources, and safe spaces for LGBTQIA+ staff, allies and families. They are doing this through raising awareness and providing educational resources to all HUB employees. As with all of the ERGs and Voices groups, Pride Voices is very open to allies, providing tips and advice on ways employees can be inclusive allies to the LGBTQ+ colleagues and is committed to educating and including all employees of HUB.

HUB-Young-Professional-Enrichment-Voices

HYPE is committed to a dynamic network where collaboration thrives through mentorship, peer support, and cross-regional connections. The network will empower emerging leaders with confidence and knowledge, equipping them to advance in their careers. Through internal development and external enrichment, young professionals will be contributing to a vibrant and inclusive community as one HUB.

“This year I’ll be celebrating six years working at HUB in the Risk Services Division and I am very proud to be involved in all the different opportunities to create a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion in all regions. Now there are several ways to get involved as a leader, a participant, and an ambassador to do our part here at HUB. The Asian American/Pacific Islander community is a special place for me to feel the genuine connection I have with other colleagues because of our similar cultural background. I am Chinese and Filipino, and this community provides me a natural way to support, connect and identify with other peers all while working at HUB.”
